Keeping up with technology, environmental concerns, race and cultural issues, gender and politics can be overwhelming, but for most of us, it’s important to at least have a grasp of what is going on.

By staying in the loop, you’ll be in a better position to navigate these topical issues to make informed decisions and engage with confidence which can help you succeed both personally and professionally.

This is the first course of the Understanding the Here and Now series. Follow-up courses that explore topics in more detail are available and will help you gain a deeper understanding of the current landscape and the implications of these issues for our lives and the world around us.
